Oh this, there can be no mistake:
Nancy Pelosi got worked.
The standard-bearer for the congressional Democrats succeeded only at delaying a COVID bill. She did nothing to increase it. She didn’t box Mitch McConnell in by taking a $1.8 trillion offer from the White House in the summer. She held firm on a $2.2 trillion line and in the end got less than half of that four months further into an uncertain economy with a weary populace looking for relief.
Now that the cooperation has ended, the blame begins and while Cocaine Mitch seems content that the bill which passed is very similar to what he offered during the summer, the same can’t be said for Pelosi.
The first and second female Speaker says this is her last term. If you were building a case to say it better be… I’d include her handling of this.

Is it surprising that no messaging has come out from the GOP? You'd think there'd be more, "We prefer money directly in the pockets of American's rather than putting it through state and local governments who will unwisely spend it on Yoga Tofu Bath Bombs and Craft beers." Where would the messaging come from? Mitch is an operator but not much of a spokesman. Trump sucked up all the oxygen for the last four years and is fairly checked out. Who would even be able to break through?

I have, as a child. It’s alright. The problem is that the stations aren’t particularly well-placed so it’s not like you can just get off and walk to where you need to go. It does go to Palm Beach though.

I think that in California if you had a job that provided you with a W2 and were laid-off or furloughed you can receive Unemployment Insurance.
If you were laid off you must actively look for work while receiving UI. If you're on furlough you don't need to look for work, because you'll be called back to work Eventually.
At least that's been my experience. I've been on furlough from Disneyland since mid-March. The Federal supplements and extensions have been a lifesaver. - GARY
