I have never been so disgusted and repulsed by an episode of this podcast. If I hadn't taken advantage of the $99 deal, I'd be sorely tempted to cancel my patronship. How dare you flaunt the fact that your daughter may sleep for 5 hours at a time! My son turns 1 in 2 weeks and I still can't get more than 3.5 hours at a time 😝
Been calling the civil war and realistically it's probably best case scenario for dems. Their inability to capitalize in so many ways over the last few years is astounding. I feel like the fact they can't sway people away from trump is kind of pathetic, but whatever. I'm just going to keep buying bullets and soup anyway.
I have consumed content from the outrage grifters, the bad faith partisan hounds and the spectacle over substance cable news cockfights this election cycle - trying to keep my bias and cognitive dissonance in check.
Your commitment to clear, honest dialogue really stands out.
It's rare to find someone so dedicated to good-faith engagement, and it makes a genuine difference in keeping discussions meaningful and trustworthy.
I hope your well reasoned forecast is incorrect but I believe everyone should thank and support you for being such a valuable voice.
Kevin is always a great guest. And he's right - you've been an indispensable voice this cycle, especially when Trump got shot in Butler and voices of sanity were hard to find. There is no end to advocacy available but you fill the rare role of a moderator who moderates, moderately. You've built relationships that let you rein in the shoutier voices without offending, and find a great stable of guests who (mostly) honor the show’s tone.
And you get that whatever the seriousness of the stakes may be, this process is still an E Ticket of entertainment, and if you're not having fun you're doing it wrong. Your show is like a real time romp through a Great Courses series, on a giant growler filled with Red Bull.
Hang in there; the end is near. Here's hoping the postseason is less eventful than 2020.

Two episodes....Jury you are a beast!

I do it for the people!
And, dammit man! My envy of your writing skills requires medication.
